Born and raised in Texas, I have a fondness for wide open spaces and slower paces. I grew up in the suburbs of Dallas/Fort Worth but with family in rural areas, I was blessed to have the best of both worlds. Years of school, work, travel, self-discovery and growth planted the seeds for the blessed life I live today. My family and I live in the foothills of North Central Texas where we have room to play, grow and appreciate all of the beautiful gifts that Mother Nature has to offer. I love learning new things, re-purposing old things and reinventing myself whenever I can. Gardening, exploring, cooking and reading are my favorite methods of relaxation and restoration; always needed! I currently spend as much time as possible finding new trails to hike and fresh air to breathe!

For the past 20 years, I have enjoyed working with diverse populations in a variety of settings to achieve one common goal; improving health and wellbeing. As a college student I felt led to begin my work in pre-medical studies with the intention of becoming a doctor of infectious disease. After completing an HIV/AIDS study abroad program in South Africa, I found that my interest was more rooted in preventing disease and illness through outreach and education rather than treating it with medical intervention. Over the years, I have worked with diverse populations of individuals and in a variety of settings. From recovery centers to state health programs; correctional facilities to universities, private medical corporations to individual clients; I can honestly say that my path is guided by my passion which is why I am so excited to be working to help others achieve optimum health and wellness in their lives.

8 years ago I embarked upon a new adventure in the world of health and wellness when I created my own consulting business and have enjoyed every second since! I have the honor and priviledge to witness the amazing changes that take place when nutrition and lifestyle are reframed, reset and repaired. BEcause I have seen the transformative benefits of nutrition therapy firsthand, I recently decided to take my skills to the next level. I am currently working to earn my graduate degree in clinical nutrition with the hopes of expanding my professional scope and practice network.
